Why Narrow Bridge Press?

The term "narrow bridge" is drawn from a quote of Rav Nachman of Breslov, a leader of the Hasidic movement of Judaism: "The whole world is a narrow bridge, but the most important thing is not to be afraid." Born in Medzhybizh in what is now Ukraine in 1772, he died in 1810 at age 38. Rav Nachman is remembered for his wisdom, teaching, and leadership of the Hasidic movement. For many, he is remembered today for quotes that call for a life of joy and meaning.

The name "Narrow Bridge Press" was chosen by Jacob Raphael.
